Reem Fadda is a curator and art historian. From 2010 to 2016, Fadda worked at the Guggenheim Museum as Associate Curator, Middle Eastern Art, Abu Dhabi Project. Fadda was Director of the Palestinian Association for Contemporary Art (PACA), Ramallah from 2005 to 2007, and served as Academic Director for the International Academy of Art Palestine, Ramallah. She has curated many international exhibitions and biennials, including “Jerusalem Lives” (Tahya Al Quds), The Palestinian Museum, Birzeit (2017); “Not New Now”, 6th Marrakech Biennale, (2016) and the National Pavilion of the United Arab Emirates at the 55th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia (2013). Fadda was awarded the eighth Walter Hopps Award for Curatorial Achievement in 2017 and is a 2019 Fellow of the Young Global Leaders of the World Economic Forum. Fadda is also the Director of the Cultural Foundation in Abu Dhabi.

Rotana Shaker

Rotana Shaker is a curator currently based in Jeddah. She received her BS in Psychology and Art History from Tufts University and her MA in Modern and Contemporary Art from Columbia University. She was the MODA 2020 Curatorial Fellow at the Wallach Art Gallery where she curated the exhibition “A Bottomless Silence”. She was subsequently a curatorial fellow at Punk Orientalism, working with curator Sara Raza. Currently, Rotana is Assistant Curator at Art Jameel, based in Hayy Jameel, Jeddah.
